"Production of Space"
a series of signs mounted on public benches

Considering the intersection of private bodies and public spaces, the mounted signs contained two texts: the first line describing situations or fictions based on observing people sitting on public benches, the second being a quote from Henri Lefebvre's Production of Space.
All she could hear were the bird songs
The individual situates her body in its own space and apprehends the space around the body.
Det eneste hun kunne høre var fuglenes sang.
Det individuelle placerer hendes krop i dets eget rum og griber luften omkring kroppen.
Her fingers pause in mid-air…
No space ever vanishes utterly, leaving no trace.
Hendes fingre, ubevægelige i luften…
Intet rum forsvinder helt uden at efterlade sig spor.
He loves this feeling of slowing down
In space, what came earlier continues to underpin what follows.
Han elsker følelsen af at sætte tempoet ned.
Hvad der tidligere var i rummet, understøtter det som kommer efter.
