Using the collected wood, we built a table to be used during the exhibition opening. This provided a counter-object to the wooden cart, acting to register our actions as completing a cycle, from seeking a certain interaction with the city by way of ‘being on the street’, to bringing into the gallery objects from the trash. In addition, the cart was made available during the month of the exhibition period, for use by local residents: announcements were sent out using local lists and blogs, encouraging creative interactions and usages.
